Who is Paula Leanues?
"In making Jesus Lord of our lives, with true repentance, purity of heart and obedience to God, we will have a blessed life. And that is in no way to say the 'blessed life' is earning millions of dollars per year. Although Pentecostal in belief, we at Faith On The Earth do not live by the worldly offshoot principles of the likes of Word of Faith and those who have replaced the Truth with a gospel of Greed. We adamantly rebuke the hijacking of the Word of God for personal gain. A blessed life means that by honoring God's personal call for our lives, we are in the center of God's will. This life is not without persecutions and tribulation as charlatan preachers preach today. Taking up one's cross yields quite the opposite."
Paula Leanues was editor of On The Verge from 1998 through early 2002, a national newsletter with a Christian perspective in relating to the world. Faith On The Earth is a continuation of On The Verge. It is an online publication, also offering printed Christian material. Faith On The Earth seeks Christian writers' contributions that share our same goals and vision for the Church.
Born again at 17, and baptized with the Holy Spirit at 23, she considers herself a perpetual student of H.S.U., or Holy Spirit University.
Paula has a call on her life to write literature for the furtherance of the Gospel, on topics as the Holy Spirit leads. More recently, her writings have taken a turn toward urging the Church to repent while citing the dangers of soft gospels being preached from American pulpits. She has written several short pieces, inspirational booklets, children's stories, poems, and a full-length book, The Jeremiah Connection, some of which are available on this website.
She currently resides in Michigan, and is formerly of Massachusetts. She feels God may call her back to the coast again, but trusts any future moves are in His hands. She has given messages at Christ's Chapel in Fall River, Massachusetts, as a guest, and will do so again if led by the Holy Spirit.
