MALAWI SHORT TERM BIBLE SCHOOL
NEEDS TO BE ADOPTED

We are looking for well established Bible school, missionary, Christian organization, or church to adopt our short term Bible school in Malawi. Already every year we have started to train local church leaders from different churches (denominations), especially untrained remote church leaders, but we are lacking resources. For that reason, your participation to adopt this short term Bible school in Malawi will help many local church leaders to have proper understanding of leadership from a biblical point of view (Matthew 20:25-28). Please, if you are considering adopting short term Bible school in Malawi, contact me at this email: husseinnguwo@yahoo.com

MALAWI IS GETTING POORER
notes from Pastor Hussein Nguwo
Malawi is still sliding into the deep end of poverty despite so many touted strategies to fight it. Malawi is ranked at 165 out of 177 countries, an indication that it is the 13th poorest country in terms of human development. Last year, she was ranked at 162 out of 173.
At the current pace Sub-Saharan Africa will not meet the goal for universal primary education until 2129 or the goal for reducing child mortality by two thirds until 2106 - 100 years away rather than the 11 called for by the goals. Malawi is among 28 countries with this outlook. Other regions, particularly Sub-Saharan Africa, are performing much less well. In three of the goals - hunger, poverty and access to sanitation, no date can be set because the situation in the region is worsening, not improving.
Malawi's probability of birth and not surviving at the age of 40 at 59.6 percent life expectancy at birth at 37.8 and the national poverty line at 65.3 percent, a situation donors have said needs urgent attention.
41.7 percent of the population lives below the poverty line of 1 dollar per day, while 43 percent of the population does not have sustainable access to an improved water source.
United Nations Development Programme representative and United Nations Resident Coordinator in Malawi Michael Keating said unless Malawi promotes economic growth, gets all children into school and reduces significant infant and maternal mortality and fights HIV/Aids head on, there is still a long way to go to achieve the millennium development goal.

CHURCH PLANTING REPORT
Jesus Way Ministry has started special programme of church planting in Malawi and Mozambique. Already Jesus Way Ministry has planted 7 local churches. All the churches planted by Jesus Way Ministry known as Living Hope Church.
The purpose of starting church planting - is because in many newly evangelized area converts are left without nurture because no one has responded to the shepherds command to 'feed my lamb' and thousands of villages are still with no voice to proclaim God's word from the pulpit no congregation life, no under-shepherd to care for the flock.r visiting church planting belong to uttermost poverty and unable to assist our service, hence; we are inviting well wishers to support the new project of planting churches. We consider this to be a vital part of our ministry development.
The first priority needs and identified problems for the new churches planted are:
·    Hymn books
·    Our local Bibles needed greatly
·    Plastic papers to help on roofing the new churches
·    Small allowance for the identified local pastors at the period of six months.
·    Bicycles for the local pastors.
·    Monthly support for transportation to reach unreached place for church planting.
To say the truth, money is the fuel for the gospel at a good purpose.
Though other new planted churches are fellowshipping under trees and others have thatched grass built with mud, still, it is my great challenge that God will provide us funds to build one national church for all local churches. By God's grace already I bought a land for the national church.
Thank you for taking the time to read this report of church planting project. I pray that the Lord will bless you personally as you consider a response - Please pray with us for the fulfillment of all that God has led us into. Please share this report with someone else whom you think might be interested in supporting church planting project. God has a purpose in years ahead of us in the work of the Kingdom.
